How it works traditionally:

Staffing agencies and head hunters traditionally work for the employer and the employer is charged a fee that the agency pays based on the salary offered to the applicant. However, the applicant usually reveals their identity making it difficult if you don't want your employer or others to know about your intentions. This is a small industry and ultimately your identity is your strongest asset and needs to be protected.

How Ear Works Inc. Reverse Headhunting works:

We represent you anonymously. A confidentiality agreement is signed with the engagement letter and we now search jobs for you customized to what you want.  We will present all jobs to you, apply for you to the ones you like and negotiate on your behalf and nobody will ever know your identity.  

We will then be paid by the employer so this is a free service to the applicant, you.

You simply tell us what you want and we do all the legwork including searching online listings, network with industry reps and clinics and clinicians and all resources available to us. You may already have a good idea where you want to end up so we will customize a personal career plan for you that you can monitor online in a private and secure project management site.  

We also suggest taking the Kolbe to know yourself better, so we can place you better, and so your employer has more to go on so they can find the best fit for you. This is optional and we will work with you on how to interpret and present the results so you work them to your advantage.

You do not need to be worried about emails being seen, or information leaking out. We guarantee it.

Would an employer hire a candidate represented anonymously?

Employers are motivated to get the right clinician into their clinic. They don't want to hire someone and then find out that their experience, skill-set, and assets that they bring to the table are not a fit. However, charisma and personality play a role. By making the selection process less emotionally charged, the employer can actually assess you based on your resume, experience, a personality/work-style inventory like the Kolbe, and then, if interested, and when you're ready to disclose your identity, you can see if the personality is a fit.  You determine when that point is, and it will be different for each candidate. Hence there are 3 phases:

  1. Phase 1 - establish your personal career plan, secure and private  career project management site and strategy with Ear Works Inc.
  2. Phase 2 - Ear Works Inc. engages into the full career realization plan that you can follow and tweak
  3. Phase 3 -You select your personal favourite opportunities and Ear Works Inc. negotiates for you and at any time of your choosing you can reveal your identity to the new employer
Its a win-win situation - you maintain privacy and confidentiality while the employer gains an unbiased candidate application that they can then couple with a personal impression that may go further for both of you than when they happen at the same time.
